Currently looking to fill the following positions:

Operations Manager (Full-time Position):

Oversees operations of the lounge and its employees. Provides guests with suggestions on types of wines to try along with wine education. Works with the owner on wine selections for lounge and WineNow! wine memberships and lounge events.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • 5+ years in the restaurant and/or alcohol industry
  • 3+ year in managing and leading a team
  • Minimum level 2, Certified level Sommelier or WSET level 2
  • Intermediate knowledge of wines and wine regions
  • Show expert ability in presentation skills
  • Maintain the general flow and day-to-day operations of our tasting and lounge areas
  • Oversee the budget and sales of merchandise and ensure that the ambiance of the lounge is updated, tasteful and organized
  • Resolve customer service issues
  • Interview and provide insight regarding potential new hires for lounge
  • Comfortable with different forms of technology, including POS systems
  • Schedule tasting lounge staff and oversee hours worked to ensure optimum ratio of guest experience to payroll hours
  • Oversee Educational Training program for all staff to ensure they are properly trained and will provide excellent customer service
  • Intermediate accounting skills for sales, budget, and payroll processes
  • Responsible alcohol service
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs with assistance
  • Must be able to squat, stand, walk, and bend repetitively throughout the day
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about wine

Lounge Server (Part-time Position):

Provides lounge guests with a positive experience through prompt and friendly service of food and beverage items. Server will also use knowledge of wine products to sell wine glasses and memberships. Maintain cleanliness of the lounge area. Assist with wine club membership pickups and shipments.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Minimum of 2 years in the food and beverage industry (service)
  • Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience
  • WSET 1 or CMS Sommelier Level 1, preferred
  • Available to work nights and/or weekends
  • Ability to use proper judgement in a fast-paced environment
  • Responsible alcohol service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to lift a 40lb case of wine
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Experience in wine and high-end locations, preferred
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about wine

Tasting Bar Server (Part-time Position):

Responsible for providing customers with a professional and informative wine tasting experience by providing wine samples to guests and providing information about each wine. This position will also educate guests on lounge wines and encourage sales of bottles, cases, and wine club memberships.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Minimum of 2 years in the food and beverage industry (service)
  • Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience
  • WSET 1 or CMS Sommelier Level 1, preferred
  • Available to work nights and/or weekends
  • Ability to use proper judgement in a fast-paced environment
  • Responsible alcohol service
  • Able to lift a 40lb case of wine
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in wine and high-end locations preferred
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about wine

Greeter/Host (Part-time Position):

This position is responsible for greeting guests in the lounge and checking to make sure guests have proper identification. This position is primarily responsible for selling wine tastings, making reservations, checking in guests and Members for tastings, and assisting with Membership bottle pick-ups, as well as wine and merchandise sales.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must be adaptable, friendly, and have some knowledge of host/greeter duties
  • Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in a customer facing role
  • Must have experience providing customers with an elevated experience and resolving customer concerns
  • Must be able to lift a 40lb-50lb case of wine
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work some nights and weekends
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in wine and high-end retail or dining is a plus
  • Passionate about wine

Floater/Busser:

The primary focus of this position is to create an environment of cleanliness. The person in this position will clear and clean tables, the tasting bar area, assist the servers, take out the trash, ensure bathroom cleanliness, and assist in providing an excellent guest experience.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must be adaptable, friendly, and not afraid to get your hands a little dirty
  • Must implement basic safety practices
  • Must be able to work with commercial safety chemicals
  • Be able to lift, reach, bend, and stoop repeatedly
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Minimum of 1 year working in a customer facing position
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about providing a quality experience for guests
